Description

This is a list of important cards for group hug EDH decks.

Group hug decks aim to benefit all players. They give out resources and advantage to accelerate other players' positions, but usually also have certain means of maintaining a balanced game state. Group hug can achieved through blanket effects or single-target, political effects. Both kinds of effects are important.

You win in group hug by eeking out card advantage and incentivizing players to attack one another, deploying just enough things to keep opponents from attacking you without being a major threat yourself. 1-power deathtouch creatures and propaganda style effects help here. You provide enchantments and creatures that help players that are behind catch up, and hold onto your win cons until there are few enough players on low enough resources that they cannot answer them.

Geier Reach Sanitarium by chance? i know theres discard but every player still gets to draw and get rid of a card they dont want/need in hand, or just plain dig deeper into a win con
