Their burning rage within. With their hate, and hunger, I'm surely bound to win."
A semi-budget vampire hasty aggro deck of doom. The goal is to overwhelm the enemy with a fast army of vamps. I can't decide whether I love Necropolis Regent ... or hate if for being wayyyy too much mana.
Open to ideas and suggestions are usual. Feel free to leave a comment or +1.
Splashing green just for Rancor in a deck with just 21 lands...not a good idea...
These weak vampires will have a really hard time getting the +1/+1 counters on them (seeing that it's hard to hit the opponent with them). You'll need burn for that (to burn the first blockers away). Think something like:
Creatures: 8x 1-drop ; 7x 2-drop ; 6x 3-drop ; 4x 4-drop
Burn spells: 12x
All of my spells are under 3 mana, so having two more lands isn't really vital for me. As I play this deck, I usually have more lands in my hand than I need. As for the splash for rancor, most of my lands dual colored, so the combination of color has never really been a problem for me. You do bring up a good point on burn spells. I'll be checking up on some useful burn to help me out, because early blockers have slowed this deck slightly. Thank you for your suggestions and comments.
I have a kinda similar deck which works great ( Vampire Deck )...but the burn really is essential (If they can block your first 3 turns, you've kinda lost...the vampires are to weak by themselves unless they get the +1/+1 counters early on...so you need to get them asap...burn makes this happen).
