As with most burn decks, the low curve from the host of 1-2 drop, 3-damage spells makes this deck lethal with 4 mana, and absurdly fast.

Lava Spike, Lightning Bolt, Rift Bolt- The staple 1-cost trio of Modern's burn.

Skullcrack- 2-cost, but prevents lifegain at instant speed.

Skewer the Critics- also a 1-drop 3 damage spell, if you can damage your opponent beforehand.

Shard Volley- Coup de grâce for that last bit of lethal damage.

Predictably though, this renders you hellbent by turn 3.

Risk Factor or Light Up the Stage offer resource continuity. While Molten Vortex trims handfat by using "extra" land for 2 direct damage.

Vexing Devil, leaves a choice for damage for 4-damage suicide blocker.

Other goodies include:
Magma Jet- For some deck fixing.

Searing Blood and Searing Blaze- for some creature control while still punishing the opponent.

Electrostatic Field- 0/4 blocker and +1 damage to all instants and sorceries.

Grim Lavamancer- for some graveyard interaction when resources are low.
