Even though Gitaxian Probe would be good, it's illegal in Modern. If I recall correctly.

I'm aware, that's why it's on maybeboard and if get some, I would only play it in casual games

I getcha. Hell, it's almost the same for my red artifact deck; playing casually I always add 4 Great Furnace in place of 4 Mountains. It's still a shame all artifact lands except Darksteel Citadel is banned from Modern.

Ikr, on my artifact deck I use both Seat of the Synod and Vault of Whispers but have to remove those and just use the Citadel for Modern formal games. Those artifact lands are a great boon, but that's why they're banned lol. Check it out if you want Rain of Quicksilver, I'll have a look at yours

Cool. And if you like Red Death, come check out my Death By Firing Squad deck. It's one of my best.

I would suggest switching out Niv-Mizzet the Firemind for the new one Niv-Mizzet, Parun. Can't be countered, still goes infinite with Curiosity and, any instant or sorcery you or they cast will trigger the ability and start the combo.

Thanks for your comment. As soon as I saw the new Niv-Mizzet I immediately thought of adding him to this deck. I only see advantages compared to Firemind: cant be countered, more power and toughness and the abilities trigger my infinite combo as well. Gotta get a copy of him now that Guilds of Ravnica is out

it does. not a bad addition imo. only difference is that Thermo-Alchemist with Curiosity lets me draw one extra card per turn and Guttersnipe deals more damage. Still, it's something to consider, thanks! Regading Peek, I've used it and still have it on sideboard tho it's not posted here. Saved me some games where it let me prepare to counter something nasty.

I got a deck going like this im gonna be using the Electrostatic Field it helps i found my self winning with two out and Guttersnipe i played a Counterspell for 4 damage than followed with a Lightning Bolt for 7 lol. Definetely brutal because i didnt draw Curiosity this game. I added 2 Crackling Drake which became big very quick. Im gonna try Manamorphose this week. If i can use the sceptre with it. It might be fun. This is a refreshing izzet idea

I guess between Thermo-Alchemist and Electrostatic Field is a matter of choice. Personally I prefer the Alchemist because with Curiosity on I can draw one extra card per turn, but the Field has more toughness and is out of range of Lightning Bolt and similar. Glad to know you're having fun with your deck, it's really fun to play when the synergies are online: playing any spell and damaging the opponent gets overwhelming real fast. In earlier stages I tried stuff like Enigma Drake and Spellheart Chimera and what you're doing with your drake is completely viable and a nice aggro surprise finisher. Manamorphose is definitely something to consider here. I dont have it so please tell me how it fares! And thank you for your suggestions.
