The tactic is basically to make the opponent lose life by gaining life myself.

In early game I rely on my cheap creatures: Ajani's Pridemate, Blood Artist and Vampire Cutthroat. I find it easy to boost Ajani's Pridemate with Scoured Barrens and by attacking with Vampire Cutthroat.

Authority of the Consuls usually slows down the opponent.

In late game I would like to have my Sanguine Bond out. Well of Lost Dreams can get some rotation. Consume Spirit can also be useful when I have access to more mana.

A limited budget is a prerequisite. Please help me improve!
