Here's my idea for a MonoU Control deck exploiting Brain in a Jar. The name of the deck is because a friend of mine always types the name of the card wrong so we decided to call him Brian lol

Maybe there's some weird choices, but I tried to balance the curve so Brian can do things every turn. The combination of Mausoleum Wanderer and Invasive Surgery is great: the tiny spirit slows down a turn things like CoCo, Read the Bones, Commands, etc, while the surgery destroys Dark Petition, Seasons Past and so on. There's also plenty of bounce, counterspells and tapping to deal with creatures, and it's insane how much card advantage this deck has, up to 13 spells provide at least one draw, but the magic happens when Brian and Narset go on a date, allowing to play big spells for one mana and giving them rebound, or even copying them with Mirrorpool...

I couldn't help but add a copy of my beloved Talent of the Telepath, which is SO FREAKING AWESOME! play two instants or sorceries for free, you can Languish, Ruinous Path, play every command, Exquisite Firecraft, Seasons Past!!...believe me, it's not that hard to get two spells in seven cards (and the rest go to the graveyard, which is really nice). Talent is my first rebound/copy target btw.

Finally, as you noticed I run Narset Transcendent as the only not-completely-blue card of the deck. I checked both Jaces and I wasn't sold on any of them, but I see potential in Narset.
