SUGGESTIONS ALWAYS WELCOME

 

This deck is centered around making cool tokens, gaining life, and having fun! I'm a Selesnya mage through and through, so I made this deck to do what I find fun!

I tried to focus on token copies of creatures and/or huge tokens in order to maximize the populate ability (e.g. Blade of Selves, Seance, Mimic Vat, God-Pharaoh's Gift, Mirrorpool , Phyrexian Processor, Phyrexian Rebirth, Nacatl War-Pride, Angel of Sanctions, Grove of the Guardian, Herald of the Host, Giant Adephage, Voice of Resurgence, Armada Wurm, Entreat the Angels, Crested Sunmare...)

One win condition is beating down with the above many/huge creatures who may be hasty (Concordant Crossroads, Hall of the Bandit Lord, Lightning Greaves) or pumped up by Pathbreaker Ibex .

Other win conditions are life gain focused: Aetherflux Reservoir and Storm Herd .

There is a bit of a lands focus due to some baller lands: Mirrorpool , Grove of the Guardian, Glacial Chasm, Krosan Verge , Emeria, The Sky Ruin, Scavenger Grounds, Yavimaya Hollow, and Hall of the Bandit Lord. So I have Knight of the Reliquary and Ulvenwald Hydra to find these lands, plus Splendid Reclamation to recur them. It's awesome to get a token copy of Ulvenwald Hydra and start populating.

It's sometimes a little slow with a somewhat high CMC but it's focused on multiplayer so hopefully the life gain will help stabilize after any slow starts.

Storm Herd + Concordant Crossroads, anyone?

Populating tokens of Garruk's Packleader gets out of control card draw. Populating tokens of Ulvenwald Hydra, Angel of Sanctions, Armada Wurm, etc. are all awesomely out of control too. Populating a token copy of Crested Sunmare is nuts for an indestructible horse army. You get the picture.

I always abuse Sylvan Library too hard since I'll probably just gain all the life back anyways haha.

Blade of Selves may be my favorite token generator.
