No more Faithless Looting! —Sept. 3, 2012

Hedron Crab does it better, and I've found the Quillspike Devoted Druid combo to be fairly threatening in its own right. Why dilute the mana base AND run fewer cards that do stuff on their own? Faithless looting was often enough a dead draw. You'll be missed but I'm better off alone!

Aside from that how did the testing go?

Hmm...I had one in, he was never overly impressive, but I'm thinking I need to diversify. The one shot kill is fun but I find it needs resilience...I dunno. I fear card:Tormod's Crypt.

it's just, none of the creatures are really good

Yeah, the deck is purely a combo deck, they all serve a purpose in the goal of creating an infinite number of infinite/infinite trampling oozes, attack and then if I get fogged I sac them all to deal infinite damage and gain infinite life.

But it's probably fine to cut the propagator and Death Cultist , infinite ooze tokens is probably overkill. There's no better kind of kill though.

Now that the shocklands are being reprinted, I should have no problems with mana for this deck.

I'm finding I can reliably win by turn five between the Hedron Crab s, Faithless Looting and the scholar/imp combo, more Thornling s seem to have made a difference.
