This is just a brief shoutout to the cards that have NEVER been on the chopping block. They function so well that the idea of a Marchesa deck without them is crazy...and yet...this is the only Marchesa deck that seems to have noticed some of these cards' potential.
Impaler Shrike: You do everything that this deck wants. You make good use of being pumped by dethrone and you die a glorious death.
Burnished Hart and Solemn Simulacrum: Resolving your ability once is amazing, but resolving it twice makes the green decks blush. I've never been focused so much as when you and Marchesa are on the battlefield together.
Noosegraf Mob: So much death...what can Man do against such reckless hate?
Nevermaker: Planeswalker about to ult, Sphere of Safety on the table, want to deny your opponent a drawstep? Nevermaker isn't the kind of card that you want to sacrifice every turn, just when it counts. Until then it's just a flying beatstick.
