You can see the resemblance, right?I've tried building several landfall based commander decks over the years. With the release of the four color commanders, I built two versions of a landfall deck based around Hazezon Tamar's colors. While black offered The Gitrog Monster and Dune-Brood Nephilim, I feel like the overall options gained from blue (including the thematic and viable commander) made it the better choice.

As I said, this is a land based deck, focusing on ramp and landfall. It includes lots of ways to fetch, bounce, and recurs lands, and obviously...a lot of lands.

Akoum Hellkite, Tunneling Geopede, and Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle let you deal damage for each land you play. Grazing Gladehart and Retreat to Kazandu let you gain life by contrast.

Allosaurus Rider, Molimo, Maro-Sorcerer, Rubblehulk, and Ulvenwald Hydra get huge the more land you have out (and synergize well with Mina and Denn, Wildborn to gain trample).

Avenger of Zendikar, Hazezon Tamar, and Omnath, Locus of Rage make tokens as you play land, while Titania, Protector of Argoth gives tokens for sacrificing them.

Various Moonfolk cards allow you to return land to your hand to replay them, getting additional triggers. Crucible of Worlds and Groundskeeper let you continue recurring lands from your graveyard.

I've had a lot of luck dealing damage very quickly with Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle (copied with Thespian's Stage and Vesuva) at the end of a game.
