Grixis. Eat my cake, still have my cake; Grixis.

More removal based than counter based, so to compensate we run (arguably) the stiffest counter in standard, Overwhelming Denial, to make what counters we do have go harder (especially in the mirror). With this little beauty NO means NO, and it helps solve the age-old conundrum of whether to cast removal on combat or wait to counter in the 2nd main; with this you cast cheap removal during combat and then follow up with a surge-cost denial.

But that's not all the spice, Consign / Oblivion is a little hidden gem that so far has been hilarious to use in any control shell. Problems with a permanent? Bounce it and make them discard that shit. Removal threatening one of your precious win-cons? Bounce it back to save the day (and get more value from a gearhulk or used-up bolas). Control isn't just about having more cards or answers, it's also about inflicting card disadvantage and reducing an opponent's options.

Dark Intimations is a new add that may get taken out, but for now the word of Shaheen Soorani is enough to try it out, the potential 3-4 card swing may just be incredible....removal, discard, card draw, and creature recovery? Bonkers.

And since I'm stealing ideas from players I like, Dev from SBMTG has talked me into a single copy of The Scarab God. It's a removal deck, there should be plenty of targets for reanimation, including my own gearhulks, which sounds like Crazy-Value-Town. Plus it requires very specific answers and if any of those answers mean putting the scarab dude in the graveyard (like by countering him), Intimations can get him back. Beauty.

I'm less impressed with Censor as time goes on, and more impressed by Supreme Will. We want to hit that board wipe and this make-shift Impulse will help us get there when we feel the noose tightening. I may be adjusting the mana, but for now this is the list!
