Notion Thief for Magister of Worth —March 12, 2019

I took out Magister of Worth because it just wasn't doing it for me. I was looking at some cool combos online and someone pointed out Notion Thief + Teferi's Puzzle Box. I was pretty amazed at how brutal this is, how it can be abused in a deck like this, and how it can really show off a little bit of strategy to the chaos.

Basically, it goes like this: Notion Thief says that instead of your opponent(s) draw a card you get to draw a card. So, if you play a Wheel of Fortune or any of the cards that make everyone dicard their hands and draw seven new cards, you are making everyone discard their hands and then get nothing from it. Rather, you get all of their potential gains! Mathematically speaking, if you have three opponents and Wheel of Fortune is played while Notion Thief is in play, you draw twenty-eight cards. You draw seven for yourself, and seven for each of the other three players. 7x4=28

This is awesome! It steals everyone's card draw, except for the first one (because we can't be too selfish) and with the amount of card drawing that goes on in this deck it is a perfect fit. It adds onto how I want this to be fun but also put the pilot at an advantage.
