I'm a B/R Rakdos player at heart, and love playing decks that are built in that colour pairing. But I've never been able to make an actual Rakdos-themed deck. Well, after a number of false starts, I thought I'd get this put together and see how I can tinker with it from here on out. Straying from RTR block has really helped, I feel, but I guess the proof will be in the playing!

I think there's a nice balance at the minute between actual Rakdos-themed cards, and the Vampire half from Zendikar and Innistrad. I think I'd like to get more spells and anthem-effects in there at some point, but for now I think I need to just play it and see how I get on. I also think I need more ways to deal direct damage to opponents, and thus ensure I can cast Rakdos when I get him in my hand.
