The amount of synergy with generating infinite sunburst WUBRG is great. Comboing off is easy with these Composite Golem + Nim Deathmantle or Grand Architect + Pili-Pala and with the fun ways for you (not so much for your opponents) to sink sunburst mana into is Legacy Weapon or Door to Nothingness . Hence the name of the deck. I did create this to have fun with alternate win conditions. I've always had fun with Door, it's been a pet card of mine forever. I've had kills with it going all the way back to it being first made in fifth dawn. Another alternate win con in here is using Maze's End which also helps to make this a budget build. So there are several sources of finding non basics Expedition Map being the best since it can be recurred with several sources. Crop Rotation + Ulvenwald Hydra are others, and gates specifically with Gatecreeper Vine other than using the Maze's ability. You can also fix color in a way with Artificer's Intuition being able to find the artifact land cycle, the Map, Astral Cornucopia, and several other utility artifacts. Sun Titan is another solid way of returning gates from your yard if your opponents play land destruction or small artifacts/creatures.

Another pet card that I love is Inexorable Tide since the ability of proliferate is such a phenomenal effect to pump up planeswalker loyalty, charge artifacts, +1/+1 counters, vivid lands... etc. if you have the Tide on the battlefield another slightly more extensive infinite mana combo is Gemstone Array + Inexorable Tide + Pentad Prism as long as both of the artifacts have charge counters on them to start, cast Shrieking Drake you can keep casting and returning the drake for just one, proliferate and charging the means of generating the blue each cast. If you just have one of the charge artifacts, with the tide it can still be infinite proliferation. Anyway it's awesome to just have infinite loyalty being able to keep using planeswalkers ultimate ability each turn, and not fear losing a walker to damage via lack of loyalty. So another card that may not look like it'll put in a lot of work is Energy Chamber , well you're wrong. Certain charge artifacts can be dropped into play for free but will have no value whatsoever. Astral Cornucopia + Everflowing Chalice if they're dropped into play for free as a sac target for Goblin Welder and I'll return them to the battlefield later with Salvaging Station but with no charge counters they aren't worthwhile. Energy Chamber rectifies that, as well if you removed all charge counters from Pentad Prism you can make them capible of having counters again able to be targets for proliferation. Not to mention that there aren't really any multicolor spells in the deck. So with a lot of artifacts. Ramos needs other sources to get +1/+1 counters to start being able to be proliferated.

There is a ton more combos and synergy in the deck, but if you haven't gotten into the infinite or don't want to include it the staple of mana fixing should include at least a Chromatic Lantern. But since it's fixing for 5 color and you get access to green I'd include Cryptolith Rite + Prismatic Omen Another great one is Joiner Adept but I went with a new fatty Regal Behemoth , since he'll incorporate the Monarch mechanic, if your playgroup hasn't adopted it as a house rule, (First player to deal commander combat damage to an opponent becomes the Monarch) I highly suggest it. it really helps get the games moving along. sorry I got sidetracked, so he'll at least draw me one card, the turn he drops I've doubled and color corrected my mana from lands, and his total 10 power/toughness fits in line with all 5 bringers, and Spellbreaker Behemoth all as viable cheat tutors with Wild Pair. The Prismatic Omen in particular is great to work with Collective Restraint to keep your opponents at bay another to help keep you from geting swarmed is Crawlspace. Since you'll be looked at as a major threat once they can see how your planning to win unconventionally.

Another great creature that puts in work is Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient with the ability to double up killing a player with a Door to Nothingness , exiling another permanent with Legacy Weapon. All the way down to just returning another artifact with Salvaging Station untapping two artifacts with Clock of Omens, bouncing another creature with Aether Spellbomb , you can get 2 charge counters with Gemstone Array even if you can't double it's mana ability. Or even another hidden deck tech in here is Ashnod's Transmogrant which can make my non-artifact creatures into artifact creatures (which sacing the Transmogrant itself can be copied making 2 creatures into artifacts). Making their abilities able to be copied (in addition to that +1/+1 counter can be added to with proliferate mechanics or Energy Chamber ), You can double returning artifacts with Goblin Welder even if you have to sac two it's a powerful effect when combined with the Salvaging Station, since you can sac the artifact land cycle t get back higher CMC artifacts from your graveyard with the welder, then return those low cmc artifacts from the station. Double destroying effects with Viashino Heretic. The ashnod's transnmogrant can turn your opponents creatures into aftifacts as well. making them susceptible to Dispeller's Capsule + Viashino Heretic . Also if you've turned your creatures into artifacts they get the protections from Darksteel Forge and Padeem, Consul of Innovation.

Now, for my personal reasons, I originally decided to build this deck... to insta-kill a buddy. He has one deck, and it's a life gain deck. He does pilot it to great success, but it's a lot easier for him to get wins, since we play very casually. But still his deck does run feladar sovereign + test of endurance to get insta-wins, since it's a life gain deck after all. So I have no qualms about tapping for 10 and saying nice try, maybe next time, but until then... Let me show you to the Door!
