This deck started as a vague, "Aetherflux Reservoir and storm would play nice together," idea and a love for the EDH format. However, building an entire 100 card highlander off of that idea proved difficult, and this deck has had a lot of awkward growth phases that left behind some unsightly stretch marks.
I recently rehauled this deck to try and fine-tune a couple mechanics within it. The sideboard lists the cards that I cut from the older version, just because it's easier to keep track of that there than through the revision history.
There are background lifegain and storm mechanics in to piggy-back off of the overall card draw. Nek has some goodies to play with to make his ability an extra pain for opponents.
Please let me know what you think, and feel free to give a case for cards that have been cut from the deck if you think they deserve a spot!
