Some folks have not noticed the second triggered ability of Nazahn: Whenever an equipped creature you control attacks, you may tap target creature defending player controls.

It makes sense to me that Nazahn is more suited to a strategy that prioritizes more creatures with equipment versus a voltron build. Now that I write this, even a token strategy might work with him! Little equipped tokens tapping opponents blockers before charging in.

In any case, I've rejigged this deck even further, and it's evolved (devolved?) from a cat-matters deck into Selesnya goodstuff. The synergy in the deck isn't strong, but each creature stands up well on its own. For example:

  • Commander Eesha can't be blocked by creatures or targetted by them - has to be dealt with if its equipped with nasty stuff
  • Fleecemane Lion a two drop that gets hexproof + indestructible when monstrous.
  • Guardian of the Guildpact only falls to wraths and multicoloured removal!
  • Jareth, Leonine Titan so long as you can activate its ability, it's a 11/14 blocker that won't take damage, and on offense, it can't be blocked!
  • Managorger Hydra grows suitably big in multiplayer games. I consider this hydra a removal drawer for 3 mana.
  • Mirran Crusader prot black and red is situation but still solid. With double strike and the right equipment, can be annoying to players in those colours.
  • Sigarda, Host of Herons I hate playing against her! So while I have no interest in having her as a commander, I get to test her out in this deck :)
  • Soltari Visionary practically unblockable, and removes enchantments!
  • Spirit en-Dal gives evasion when needed!
  • Thrun, the Last Troll can't be countered, hexproof, and resistant to boardwipes with the right mana up! You can even put up a regeneration shield and swing ftw!

Nazahn is a very expensive commander at 6 cmc, and when he enters the battlefield, the chance that his Hammer is still in your library is high, so you can pull it out and equip him with it. But if the hammer or Nazahn gets removed, it's going to take lots of mana to get them back. This way, the deck is designed to function on its own without heavy reliance on Nazahn.

The main concern I have is against token decks - outpacing them might work as the average cmc of this deck is quite low.
