Major Changes / LGS results —May 13, 2018

Decided to move away from the entire hatebears package to full equipment aggro build with the following additions:

LGS Results:

Win: Played in a 4 man pod of Yasova Dragonclaw, Muldrotha, the Gravetide, and Merieke Ri Berit

Yasova starts out slow while Muldrotha gets his Animate Dead and The Eldest Reborn engine going. Merieke player managed to take Muldrotha but was soon killed by the saga. I am not able to get any creatures out as the saga engine was continuously clearing the board. The pod decides to team up against the Muldrotha player before he gets out of control. I finally found a Rakdos Charm and managed to exile Muldrotha's entire graveyard and proceeds to voltron up my Mirran Crusader with a Sword of Feast and Famine/Grafted Exoskeleton and killed the entire table with Aurelia, the Warleader.

Notable MVPs:

  • Grafted Exoskeleton: Won me quite a number of games and can kill a dominant player out of nowhere
  • Rakdos Charm: Have been effectively shutting down graveyard strategies especially with a Sunforger loop online as well as a catch-all for infinite creatures combo

I like your deck, this maybe one way I can build my Marchesa.

Reito Lantern is both really good with Sunforger and also graveyard removal (albeit somewhat slow for that). You might not need another Misteveil Plains, but I dig it in Sunforger decks. I actually used it once to keep from getting decked by restocking my library one card at a time with exactly the card I wanted... that's pretty niche but was also awesome.
