Disclaimer: this is my real life decklist, I have ambitions to improve it but first i need to aquire the cards, Karn, the Great Creator , shock and fetch lands, and Kethis, the Hidden Hand are all planned additions. The Weatherlight saga is an older part of the magic story and I have taken a fascination with it since Dominaria brought in a new cast of characters. This deck is built in a way that can highlight the power of the crew new and old. I know I am missing a couple crew members but Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary is banned and other crew members are often temporary like liliana, jaya, and chandra who are on for short adventures but did not remain after the dominaria storyline. The commander is able to tutor any legendary permanent from the deck so the rest of the deck is about creating a board of powerful legendary creatures and running your opponents down. Odric, Lunarch Marshal , Samut, Voice of Dissent , and Xenagos, God of Revels assist you in getting creatures to have haste to act faster. Trostani Discordant , Crovax, Ascendant Hero , Arvad the Cursed and Heroes' Podium allow you to boost your board for more damage. Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Saskia the Unyielding double up on damage while Aurelia, the Warleader and Najeela, the Blade-Blossom give you extra combats. Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist will lock your opponents into only having one blocker, while also holding off swarms of enemy attackers. Shanna, Sisay's Legacy and Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar tend to be huge creatures when they hit the board for heavy hitters. Beyond this, the deck runs a toolbox for protecting itself from and shutting down your opponents. Ertai, Wizard Adept can counter spells, while Starke of Rath is a form of creature removal. Tajic, Legion's Edge , Archangel Avacyn  , Marchesa, the Black Rose , and Gerrard, Weatherlight Hero can save you from a board wipe. Gerrard, Weatherlight Hero + Saffi Eriksdotter stops all boardwipes. Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim can act as removal as well as a sac outlet to stop control magic or set off Gerrard. Gaddock Teeg and Lavinia, Azorius Renegade stop big mana strategies and lock out freecasting. Narset, Parter of Veils , Tibalt, Rakish Instigator , and Ashiok, Dream Render lock out graveyards, tutoring, card draw and life gain. Melira, Sylvok Outcast and Jace, Wielder of Mysteries are answers to rarer strategies mill and infect. Tamiyo, Collector of Tales and Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir are amazing protection from most control decks(assuming they resolve). Derevi, Empyrial Tactician is an interesting inclusion, it allows for extra mana to tutor stuff and Derevi, Empyrial Tactician + Najeela, the Blade-Blossom on the right board will give you infinite combat steps. Blackblade Reforged + Sisay, Weatherlight Captain is a cheap and easy to tutor way to get sisay big enough to tutor anything from the deck. Captain Sisay is run so you can tutor any of the many legendary sorceries from within the deck. The deck is pretty straightforward to run and every card plays its role. It is an amazingly fun deck to play the biggest issue is that legendary creatures draw a lot of attention and are common removal targets. If your opponents stop you from getting creatures or planeswalkers to stick you will most definitely lose.
