After going 4-0 at the Dragons of Tarkir prerelease I recalled all of the matches and remembered how much work Hero's Blade did.This card got me out of trouble by making every creature in my deck a fast clock. Seriously Palace Familiar + Hero's Blade is no joke in limited.

After searching gatherer for legendary creatures with cmc of under 3 this is what I came up with.

RedWhite Summer Wine

• Hero's Blade is arguably the core of this deck. Ability works on every creature in the deck

• Aether Vial is the best turn one play you can make. Always tick up to 3 counters (unless multiple vials).

• Konda's Banner seems good but I'm just testing it out.

• Tenza, Godo's Maul is great because the equip cost is so low.

• Lightning Bolt, Lightning Helix and Path to Exile for removal

• Tuktuk the Explorer is great against decks that don't run Path to Exile but the main reason the card is in the deck is because it has haste.

• Zurgo Bellstriker is a really cheap legendary with the upside of dash which gives it protection from most wrath effects.

• Isamaru, Hound of Konda is another cheap legendary and also the best turn 1 play after vial.

• Brothers Yamazaki is not good alone but casting one and then vialing the other and smashing for 8+ damage seems strong.

• Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit because of bolster.

• Alesha, Who Smiles at Death is just bonkers in this deck. Her ability alone is good enough but the first strike puts her over the top.
