Thanks for your Input, checked these to already but decided to stick with titania's and archdruid. Sure the ramp doens't work from forest #1, but nevertheless games rarely are longer than 6 turns :)

Why is there no Staff of Domination? o.0 That's where you pull off a turn 3 win with infinite infinite/infinite elves.

Maybe I'm to noob at this point, but can you explain the mechanics you see in Staff of Domination? I don't see an advantage which I don't already get with Seeker of Skybreak and +1 from Nissa Revane. Thx in advance :)

I forget the mechanics, but the strategy is basically: mana dorks, Priest of Titania, Staff of Domination for infinite mana because Priest taps for one more mana than using the staff to untap a creature and itself. Put in a couple utility elves, and you draw your whole deck, play it, infinitely activate abilities to make them infinite/infinite and use something in the deck to give them haste.

Ah there you go, totally forgot that you could use the Staff for getting more mana, was totally battletricks focused :oGuess that's a now brainer in this case, see where I can fit it in.

First of all, meant no-brainer in my comment before :o Playtested a little and saw no real benefit in Staff of Domination, to pricy. But worked around with Elvish Mystic, Ezuri, Renegade Leader, Nettle Sentinel, Slate of Ancestry and Thousand-Year Elixir. Target: Get a fast and proper rampup for the Artifacts or the Genesis Wave. So, a lot happened today, now I'm gonna test it on MTGO :)

Thousand-Year Elixir is a good idea. If you can give everything haste, get infinite mana, and genesis wave flipping your library onto the battlefield with +infinity/+infinity, you should be good.

Have you seen how legacy combo elves tends to work already? Nettle Sentinel and Heritage Druid, combined with cheap elves (who in turn tap for mana cause Heritage Druid gives psudo mana ramp haste) and Glimpse of Nature to draw a lot.

Green Sun's Zenith gives you a tool box effect as well.

http://www.channelfireball.com/articles/deck-of-the-day-legacy-elves/ is a good example

Hi and thank you for your input. Regarding your proposals:

Last but not least, I appriciate your comment, but looking at your link you posted: to me an elfdeck has to be monogreen and has to contain mostly or only elves. Call me old fashioned, but the suggested deck is far away from the elf-sensation I'm looking for with my deck. Already took the Primordial Hydra in there for some lategame punch, if a game should really lasts that long. And where's the thrill to reconstruct some deck found in an article? :D To me this deck has enough combos to deserve its described name, having all the fun rounds in mind where I won in MTGO and against friends ;)

Concordant Crossroads for hasting this up (3 mana for a 3-4 turn ability from timberwatch elf is costly).

Quirion Ranger instead of Symbiote, who's an insect and not an elf (unless it is to save elves from dying).

May be a couple of Skyshroud Ranger if you don't want too many lands in your hand.

Ty for Concordant Crossroads, took that in instead of Primordial Hydra which landed to often on graveyard because of Genesis Wave.

Wirewood Symbiote is indeed in there to get elves back to my hand in case they get targeted.

i saw a deck almost like this like 1 year ago https://www.mtggoldfish.com/archetype/modern-coco-elves#online COCO seems to have what your miss to be explosive.

Odd to see an elf deck without Heritage Druid, Nettle Sentinel, or Birchlore Rangers..

Priest of Titania > the ones you named, simple as that :)

autruche2, are you serious with CoCo? :D But you've seen Genesis Wave?

Priest of Titania can't be activated the turn it's dropped, and you're using Concordant Crossroads to try to make up for it. But hey, to each his own. I see what you're trying to do with the deck and I do like the idea, just not the execution. Legacy elves can produce hundreds of mana turn 4 or 5, even without money sinks like Gaea's Cradle

May 2, 2017 10:49 a.m.

Omgawall Is right. Priest of Titania is good but definitely not as good as Heritage Druid. There is already and established tier 1 elf deck and there is a reason it doesn't play Priest of Titania at all. You can go off with Heritage Druid the turn it comes out and elf storm. If you're playing with anyone that knows what they're doing, You'll get to untap with Priest of Titania maybe 1 out of 100 times.

Omgawall & Snapdisastermage: well now you got me curious, how would you do changes? Imo Priest of Titania gets me 3-4 mana in turn 3 if all comes along well, if it's going fantastic I'll get 6-8 combined with Seeker of Skybreak. At this point I kinda don't see the benefit of Heritage Druid who would give me let's say 3 mana at turn 2. Or am I just to dumb to see it? :o Primary target is to hit Genesis Wave with as much mana as possible, furthermore tapping my combo elves for producing mana doesn't seem to ideal neither, because I can't rely on their functions anymore. Pls enlight me, I'm for sure willing to change the deck towards even more speed and my wincon Genesis Wave :)

Assume you have an opening hand with 2 forest, a Heritage Druid, 2 Nettle Sentinel, and whatever other 2 elves you like.

Turn 1. Forest -> Heritage Druid

Turn 2. Forest -> Nettle Sentinel x2. Drop the rest of your hand.

This usually is paired with Glimpse of Nature, but you can get the same effect with something like Lifecrafter's Bestiary or Soul of the Harvest

I see, didn't think about the synergy of Nettle Sentinel and Heritage Druid, thx! But dunno which cards I should cut for 2 playsets of them.. Elvish Archdruid, Ezuri, Renegade Leader, Elvish Mystic and 1 Wellwisher?

I've played Legacy Elves (a full Elves deck, with 4 Gaea's Cradle and all) for about four years now, so I'm going to weigh in a bit:

You have two paths you can take this deck. Full, legitimate Legacy Combo Elves, or a casual Combo Elves deck. If you want to do casual Combo Elves, remove the Timberwatch Elves for Green Sun's Zeniths and then drop Wellwisher for Staff of Domination. Staff is basically better Genesis Wave in this deck and gives you 7 outlets for big mana- if you control either Priest or an Archdruid plus four other Elves, you now have infinite mana, card draw, untaps, and life gain. Landing it with 5 Elves simply means you should win, lol, and Ezuri can pump your Elves to ridiculous numbers, so no need for Timberwatches anymore. GSZ's help make sure you can grab a Priest or Archdruid every game, which will aid your consistency. Boom- decent casual deck though lacking in interaction. You should be able to turn 5 everyone regularly, anyway.

If you decide to do legit Legacy Elves: You don't need Wellwisher. Drop it. There's your Heritage Druid slot. Life gain is nice, but it's unnecessary when you just drew through your whole deck on the third turn. Seeker of Skybreak needs to go, as well, because Nettle Sentinel does a similar job for half the cost and usually will produce more mana with Druid. Asceticism is unnecessary, and can be your slot for Natural Order, which is important and I'll explain why in a bit.

Green Sun's Zenith still needs to be in the deck, so that could easily take the place of Timberwatch Elf. Elvish Visionary and Wirewood Symbiote have insane synergy, so I'd highly recommend the Visionary. Glimpse of Nature will draw you into more of your library early than Genesis Wave can (as you only really need to land 10 or so Elves and then fish out your Behemoth for the win in a Legacy game). Elvish Mystic can be Deathrite Shaman, and Quirion Ranger should probably be put into the deck in some fashion, probably over Taunting Elf.

With 2 more slots, add in Craterhoof Behemoth. You Natural Order for the Behemoth after drawing/casting 10~ Elves, which makes one or two getting through game.

Still running Priest of Titania is okay when you don't have Gaea's Cradle, so keep that. Archdruid probably isn't necessary and could maybe become Birchlore Rangers to help with Deathrite mana.

The Legacy combo Elves version is fairly resilient (IE, killing one of your creatures doesn't slow you down ludicrously as it has tutors and many of the creatures are lower cost), and goes off on turns 3 and 4, respectively, versus just Genesis Waving for 14+ on turn 5.

If you do multiplayer games, do the casual Elves deck as tuned meta Legacy Elves won't work against more than one opponent. If you're doing 1v1 games, there's nothing greater than the feeling of drawing a ton of cards on the third turn and crushing your opponent.

wow PookandPie, just wow :o Ty very much for these suggestions, you gave me a hell lot to think about! Sad thing is, just sold my 4 Staff of Domination at the beginning of this year and I'm kinda short on budget atm. As soon this changes, I'll do a big revision of this deck. For the moment I go with a playset of Heritage Druid and Nettle Sentinel and see where this takes me. I'll play mainly with friends, so the super-competitive verdion can wait :)Thx again, I'd +1 you if I could :D
