Hello friends, welcome to my first ever Commander/EDH deck I've ever built! I've used Tapped Out for quite some time now, and figured I'd showcase one of my commander decks.

This is a strictly casual deck that I play on casual FNG game nights and with my play group. There are a couple of banned cards, with Veil of Summer and my gold border Grim Monolith.

I am always looking for suggestions, so please feel free to drop a comment with what you would recommend!

Key Combos Show

Grim Monolith / Basalt Monolith + Nyxbloom Ancient Combo

This combo provides infinite colorless mana, which can be used in plenty of different ways. The most notable of cards that go with this combo are Hydra Broodmaster, Wildborn Preserver, Mistcutter Hydra, and Heroes' Bane. Of course, any of the mana costing hydras can be brought to the battlefield at infinite/infinite levels, but the below combos have a little extra spice to them.

Hydra Broodmaster

This is probably the most fun infinite combo in this deck. In a casual game, I usually try and tutor for Nyxbloom Ancient and Hydra Broodmaster to produce an infinite number of infinite/infinite green Hydra creature tokens when Broodmaster goes monstrous.

Wildborn Preserver

Super easy combo when you have infinite colorless, simply have a non-Human creature enter the battlefield under your control and pay an infinite amount of colorless mana to make Wildborn become infinite/infinite.

Mistcutter Hydra

This combo simply spawns Mistcuttter Hydra at an infinite/infinite power and toughness. It is extremely useful namely because of the "can't be countered", "Haste", and "Protection from blue" clauses. Good pick for OTK's!

Heroes' Bane

Perhaps the most boring of the infinite combos, Heroes' Bane can be (basically) made infinite with the colorless mana with his activated ability. The only limiting factor to Heroes' Bane is the cost that comes with it's activated ability. This is somewhat negated with the use of Nyxbloom Ancient and it's mana tripling capacity, but I did figure it was worth a mention.
