Lazav Combos

The purpose of this deck is to throw as many low CMC creatures into the graveyard to use Lazav to copy them and swing for DEATH.

First, all of these combos operate with Lazav on the field and the necessary mana available.

Make Lazav Into an Unblockable Creature

Using Lazav's X ability you can copy the following creatures which will protect Lazav and "get him past enemy lines."

Unblockable

• Blighted Agent

• Cephalid Inkshrouder

• Dimir Infiltrator

• Invisible Stalker

• Slither Blade

• Tormented Soul

Shadow (like unblockable only if the opponent doesn't control shadow creatures)

• Dauthi Cutthroat

• Drifter il-Dal

• Looter il-Kor

• Thalakos Scout

Then after Lazav has "broken through enemy lines" and the opponent is forced to declare 0 blockers you change Lazav into a Vector Asp and use the infect ability which is placed on the stack. Then change Lazav again into a Phyrexian Dreadnought which will also go on the stack and resolve. After that the infect trigger will resolve and Lasav will be a 12/12 with infect and the damage will be done eliminating a player. I recommend this to be the final blow or to focus down on someone. WARNING: THIS WILL MAKE YOU INTO A TARGET Someone who can sneak attack with a 12/12 infect isn't always bargained with.

Instead of making Lazav into a Phyrexian Dreadnought, he can be turned into any low CMC creature that does a lot of damage such as Mortivore.

With the right mana base you can get Lazav into the damage dealing position and pay a whopping 7 mana to copy Phage the Untouchable and kill someone immediately. Her ETB trigger does not take effect because Lazav is copying the abilities and is already on the field.

You can also protect Lazav by copying the abilities of Hexproof creatures and the like. Here are the ones I have in the deck.

• Cephalid Inkshrouder has Shroud

• Invisible Stalker has Hexproof

• Phenax, God of Deception has Indestructible

Lazav can also be regenerated if he is dealt damage that would make him die. Before the damage is dealt change Lazav to a regenerate creature and regenerate him or return him to your hand.

Necrotic Ooze Combos

Necrotic Ooze does not use inside the graveyard because in this deck Necrotic Ooze is used as a combo tool. Necrotic Ooze will be used to copy activated abilities of creatures in your graveyard for infinite mana, turns, damage, mill, draw, etc. The following list contains all of the combos I can see this deck being capable of:

• Bloodline Keeper   + Grimgrin, Corpse-Born + Triskelion = Infinite Damage

• Bloodline Keeper   + Grimgrin, Corpse-Born + Walking Ballista = Infinite Damage

• Bloodline Keeper   + Grimgrin, Corpse-Born + Sage of Hours = Infinite Turns

• Palladium Myr + Pili-Pala = Infinite Colored Mana

• Bloodline Keeper   + Pili-Pala + Ashnod's Altar = Infinite Colored Mana

• Bloodline Keeper   + Grimgrin, Corpse-Born + Altar of the Brood = Infinite Opponent Mill

• Bloodline Keeper   + Grimgrin, Corpse-Born + Mesmeric Orb = Infinite Personal Mill

• Palladium Myr + Pili-Pala + Mesmeric Orb = Infinite Personal Mill

• Tree of Perdition + Crypt Rats = Kill (If you have Pili-Pala untap and kill another person)

With infinite mana and Pili-Pala to untap Necrotic Ooze you can tap Necrotic Ooze with Vizier of Tumbling Sands to untap any permanent that taps. For example, Codex Shredder which will mill everyone out.

Graveyard Fodders

Use everything that says mill on it to mill yourself. You want your graveyard to have creatures in it that you can target. The tutors in this deck make you put things into your graveyard.

Misc

I have put a few cards in here that may not be part of a combo but can be helpful for sifting through the deck or getting to the goal.

• Lim-Dul's Vault: Look for cards in your library put them on top and mill them.

• Jace, Memory Adept: useful for mill and draw

• Training Grounds: Discount Lazav's ability

• Witchbane Orb: stops others from exiling your graveyard

• Basalt Monolith + Mesmeric Orb = Infinite Mill yourself and copy Laboratory Maniac with Lazav to win with something like Merfolk Looter or Reckless Scholar

• I have also included cards like Whisper, Blood Liturgist and Undertaker that will help return Necrotic Ooze to your hand or the battlefield.

• Mirror-Mad Phantasm will give a chance to mill a lot and can mill a wincon.

• Dimir House Guard can transmute to look for Necrotic Ooze or Witchbane Orb
