This deck was made is response to an annoying cascade commander. It basically just shuts down the board until finally drawing into one of its 2 or so win-cons.

Not Meant to Win

Slowing down and shutting down is the point. Shut down with Lavinia, Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir, or, Teferi, Time Raveler and Knowledge Pool. Shut down ETB and death triggers. Really it is meant to make every one play fair

Planewalker Subtheme Not difficult to get emblems down in this deck.

Mass Land Destruction? Absolutely With a ton of mana rocks, As Foretold, and Smothering Tithe, typically the best call is a Mana Vortex or an Armageddon.
