Lands Combo (Casual vs. Competitive)

Vintage Casual Combo Competitive

Destrian

Sideboard

Sometimes I just want to kill someone with a junk rare.

So, this definitely requires some explanation.

I don't have enough of the very expensive Vintage cards to build much of a deck, but I'm playing against someone with essentially an unlimited budget. Now, I don't mind being the underdog, but I figured I'd set myself up to do well against players with a variety of decks (in terms of competitiveness), since some friends in a boat similar to mine do also build Vintage decks.

The goal here is NOT to win at a competitive tournament, but rather to be able to engage meaningfully in a game against a Vintage combo deck. His games typically go mana rocks, get Ancestral Recall somehow, Time Walk or Magus of the Future, Auriok Steelshapers combo with Black Lotus and Sensei's Divining Top, get Time Vault and Voltaic Key, and win. Sometimes only some of those things happen.

This deck is a complete overhaul of my last attempt at a vintage deck, Stonestill (Casual vs. Competitive), which wasn't really up to snuff. I've actually played a deck very similar to this one in the past. It has been updated slightly to include some newer cards.

Updates Add

I've made some pretty significant changes to try and combat some issues. I often feel like I don't accomplish anything before I lose. There is now no red in the maindeck or sideboard. Major additions:

+2 Preordain

+1 Ponder

+1 Dig Through Time

+1 Misdirection

+1 Gifts Ungiven

I also reworked the land base to add more fetches.

I am interested in feedback. Feel free to suggest anything. Just don't be annoyed when I decline to add cards like Ancestral Recall and Time Walk. I am not interested in investing in Vintage-only cards at the moment.
