I saw Meloku and thought "Wow, it's a blue landfall-enabling commander! That's weird, neat, and cheap! I might try to make a deck around that." I'm on a budget (and I'm a bit cheap by nature,) so I decided to avoid some of the more expensive cards I know would do cool things with the deck. Anything in this deck that's worth more than $1-$2 is probably something I pulled, got in a pre-con, or traded for.
