I see no one clear strategy because of the size the deck must be and the singleton nature of the format. But there has to be something that can synergize enough to make at least occasional victories possible.

It seems like some kind of dredge, reanimator with artifact synergies is the best way to go.

Spell with alternate costs Here is a full list, but Commandeer , Force of Will , Misdirection would be my choices. Any of the Shoal's are good, and Dream Halls is likely a win condition for this kind of deck. If you run many creature's Cabal Therapy is nice. Salvage Titan .

Possible Win conditions

Since milling all of a no land deck is easy Laboratory Maniac , I would use kobolds + magic and hermit druid with dread return.

Spirit guide or mox into a goblin welder and pitch Goblin Charbelcher into the yard, weld and ornithopter into the belcher, and lion' eye diamond to activate it.

Using lotus petal to dark ritual into entomb dumping Worldgorger Dragon , then casting animated dead or Dance of the Dead on it. If you have anything in play that could tap for mana tap it for infinite mana. When the dragon eats the animate dead, it kills itself so it un-eats your mana source which you tap, but animate dead needs to enchant something, so the dragon comes back out and eats everything again. Staff of Domination can draw your deck from this point and do something to win. If you have no possible actions the game ends in a draw on this one.

3x 0 cost critter into dread return plus any threat that is hard to kill jin-gitaxis core augur comes to mind.

Use 0 cost artifacts to land Frogmite , Myr Enforcer and Mycosynth Golem and actually swing for the win.
