This is a deck based upon the synergy of self mill and Laboratory Maniac. Although, the deck does have a high potential to mill opponents, self mill is recommended.

There is a high use of flashback, and cards such as Skaab Ruinator, who can be played from the graveyard. Flashback cards are significant for when you mill yourself, you are doing yourself a favor. Some cards like Memory's Journey have a flashback requiring a Forest. However, cards like Altar of the Lost can allow for Memory's Journey to be played and be hugely helpful to keep cards like Laboratory Maniac a plausible win condition.

Important:I preferred to only use cards from this recent block, Innistrad and one card from 2013 (Jace). In my opinion, it makes the decks far more interesting and synergistic. Also, your opponents tend to hate you a lot less.
