The point of the deck is to best utilize the strengths of Kytheon and his planeswalker form. The way I chose to do so is to focus on white control, via board wipes. The goal of the deck is to continually clear the board and keep attacking with the commander, while slowing the opponents recovering. Think stax-lite.

There are several different basic card types in the deck:

Board wipes, Spot removal for the pesky indestructible creatures, Synergy cards that work well with Gideon's + abilities, Cards that enhance Gideon when he is swinging.
