Triggered abilities are fun. I especially like the ones that make a token when you do something. It's even more fun when you double up! Kykar makes a token when you cast a noncreature spell, so how about some more of that?

Saheeli makes a Servo on Noncreature

Monastery Mentor makes a Prowess Monk on Noncreature

Young Pyromancer makes an Elemental on Instant or Sorcery

Talrand makes a Drake on Instant or Sorcery

Murmuring Mystic makes a Bird Illusion on Instant or Sorcery

The Locust God makes an Insect on Draw

Nadir Kraken makes a Tentacle on Draw (I know where this is going...)

Anointed Procession doubles all Tokens

You know what else I like? Mana. Kykar turns his spirits into mana. Phyrexian Altar and Ashnod's Altar turn all those other tokens into mana. Mana Echoes makes mana when I make tokens. There can be a lot of mana going around from that, though most of it ends up being red.

I also happen to like Buyback. Buyback is a fun mechanic with which you can cast a spell again, and again, and again. Most of the spells are prohibitively costly to buyback constantly and most of the spells. If only there were some mechanism that made the buyback spells do something, like generate tokens, or helped out with the mana cost. Oh, wait... Kykar and friends do that. Exactly that. I wonder how many times a buyback spell like Haze of Rage could be cast in a turn. It's infinite with the right setup? Fancy that...
