Kumena is a value engine on a stick. This deck is an aggressive Merfolk tribal deck that heavily relies on Kumena's abilities. I have come to realize that critical mass of Merfolk is important to active his abilities as often as possible. It also plays with mass untapping so that you can activate Kumena's abilities multiple times and on your opponents' turns. This is a 75-80% build and this is only version 1.0. It needs some help and fine tuning.

On my first build I realized I had accidentally left out most of my ramp, but I am not sure how much I need to add back in because over all it is a pretty low curve deck.

Version 2: Greatly increased ramp and removed several cards with limited interaction. Also simplified the land base. I felt like there were too many ETB tapped lands for a deck that I want to be fairly aggressive.

Subtractions: Homeward Path, Lonely Sandbar, Opal Palace, Simic Growth Chamber, Simic Guildgate, Woodland Stream, Aquitect's Will, Great Aurora, Adaptive Automation, Augur of Bolas, Cursecatcher, Fatesticher, Overtaker, Wanderwine Prophets

Version 3: Mainly just updating the deck going back to Dominaria. Also streamlining the purpose of the deck some. I removed several non-merfolk in favor of additional merfolk to help consistently use Kumena's abilities. Removed a few "fun" cards in favor of cards that synergize with the deck better. Also, a couple of counter spell upgrades.
