My first EDH deck!
Budget friendly and fun to play. Please feel free to leave any suggestions!

note: no infinite combos in my playgroup ;)
Deck Breakdown:

Ramp, Card Draw, and Removal.
The 3 fundamental tools for any EDH deck. The first two are easy for and

- For ramp, I selected spells that put lands in untapped, such as Search for Tomorrow and Harrow. These function better (imo) than cards like Kodama's Reach, because in the late game, not having to wait another turn for the land to untap can make the difference in having enough mana to win.

- For card draw, its mostly staples. I love Mystic Remora :)

- For removal, I'm running the few direct removal spells the has to offer. Rapid Hybridization and card:Beast from Within ofc. There's some artifact and enchantment hate with Bane of Progress, and obviously, we can't leave out Fblthp!
This is where the politics/mind games comes in. is notable for soft removal (ie. Unsummon), and has the famous Fog. While at first these may not seem like the best cards to run in EDH (which, let's be honest, gets pretty competitive at times), they often don't draw as much hate and can be quite versatile when used well.

Here's a scenario:The zombie player is deciding who to attack with his horde of 2/2 zombie tokens and Grave Titan. I tell him/her not to attack me as I sit behind a wall of mana. If they are foolish enough not to heed my advice, I cast Illusionist's Gambit and tell them again sternly, "Don't. Attack. Me."The next time he comes swinging at me, I won't let it slide so lightly, casting from my arsenal anything from AEtherize to Tangle, allowing me (and other players) to go in with an alpha strike my next turn.

Spore Cloud has the added bonus of tapping down both attacking and blocking creatures, so when an opponent attacks another opponent, this can potentially lock down two boards. Be careful though, as this might draw the attention of both players to you and bite you in the back.

Alternatively, these cards are useful not only for saving yourself but others as well. Casting Winter's Chill, a less obvious Propaganda, to save another player can help establish a healthy alliance. (side note: I don't have any snow-covered lands, so I give my play group a disclaimer when I run this card. If anyone has extra snow-covered Islands or Forests they are willing to part with, please send them my way XD)
Perhaps the most unrefined part of my deck, so I'm open to any suggestions. I'm mainly running creatures with death effects, ex. Phytotitan, Penumbra Wurm, Lifeblood Hydra

I find that these are really nice in an environment where boardwipes are plentiful and single target removal every other turn. Similar to D.A.M., creatures like Reef Worm cause other players to Think Twice before attacking me.
The deck revolves around winning with mana. Store up mana with Kruphix and release it with Helix Pinnacle! (Doubling Cube really helps)

Other win conditions include: Blue Sun's Zenith, Braingeyser, Stroke of Genius, and Increasing Confusion (Keep in mind these spells can draw yourself cards and also win using Laboratory Maniac)

Also Rogue's Passage + Untamed Might .

I hope you enjoy playing this deck as much I enjoyed building it :)
Cheers~
