Kruphix's Fantastic Elastic Mighty Morphin Machine

Commander / EDH Casual Control GU (Simic) Infinite Combo Multiplayer TurboFog

Flarhoon13

Fun, silly, powerful deck. Just made this deck Sept. 2017, on my quest to make one of each colour combination. It is quite good. Rather than going into the best blue green cards, I instead decided to make a morph deck. Morphs are fun. This shell also makes them powerful. You can go into a loop with some of the following cards to make morphs free and use Cloudstone Curio to win the game. Semblance Anvil , Dream Chisel , Obscuring AEther , Centaur Omenreader , Tangleroot reduce the cost of morphs, the goal being zero. Soul of the Harvest , Lifecrafter's Bestiary or Zendikar Resurgent allow for card draw, which can be infinite with the above assembled. I use Aetherflux Reservoir to kill everyone in that scenario. Bontu's Monument and Altar of the Brood could also work. To assemble the machine, the deck also features strong blue tutors in Whir of Invention , Long-Term Plans and Fabricate .

Kruphix, God of Horizons plays well with morphs, because he and they are all good when you pass the turn with all your mana up. I thought to add fog effects into the deck since that is what the deck wants to do and I got wrecked by elves and other aggro decks a few times. Interestingly, sometimes, you want to AEtherize yourself when your Cloudstone Curio engine is assembled.

Some cards that are just great with Kruphix, God of Horizons are Doubling Cube , Seedborn Muse , x card draw spells like Pull from Tomorrow and Hydra Broodmaster . I attacked for 10,000 power of hydras once with that combination of cards.

I have killed a player in his turn with Blue Sun's Zenith . I used my Chromeshell Crab to steal his Grand Abolisher after he had responded to The Great Aurora with Teferi's Protection . You generally can win after The Great Aurora resolves if you have a mitt full of cards. Float your mana! Fathom Seer helps you dig and is very good to morph just before you cast The Great Aurora .

Basalt Monolith and Mana Reflection make infinite mana (use to draw cards or make a million hydras), and we have the pickles combo of Brine Elemental and Vesuvan Shapeshifter . I have yet to win with that two card combo but achieved it with Ixidor, Reality Sculptor , Master of the Veil and Weaver of Lies . Some other combination of the machine and bounce morphs would also work, but you would really need Ixidor, Reality Sculptor . Brine Elemental says each opponent so it is multiplayer ready.

The morphs have excellent utility. There are 21, including Zoetic Cavern . The weakest are the beaters. Den Protector , Stratus Dancer , Willbender and Kheru Spellsnatcher are my favourites, plus Riptide Survivor .
