This is a Kruphix, God of Horizons deck that chaosumbreon87 put together for me when I asked for help to make a casual deck I used to run into a viable EDH deck. When the Kamigawa block was current, I tried to make a casual group-game deck that would focus on drawing cards and playing creatures with power/toughness based on the cards in my hand, but I could never really get the deck to run worth a hoot. But with EDH now, I figured in a group setting like that, surely the idea could work a little better. I just needed someone to help me out, and chaosumbreon87 did just that. The idea is to fill your hand with cards, cast fatties like Sturmgeist, Multani, Maro-Sorcerer, Soramaro, First to Dream, and Maro, and then swing with mass damage.

With the mana built up with Kruphix, I can use the abilities of cards like Soramaro, First to Dream, Soratami Mirror-Mage, and Oboro Breezecaller for bounce or other effects, or run major card draws with spells like Blue Sun's Zenith and Stroke of Genius with Laboratory Maniac as another win condition.

I love to play this deck, as its a little group-huggy, and I just love the way it plays. Drawing cards, throwing down fatties; its a good life. I've decided to go a with a little bit of combo, too, abusing cards like Palinchron, Deadeye Navigator, and Gaea's Cradle.
