This deck is obviously unofficial. I was inspired to make this deck because I wanted a fairly unique "lands" deck. Generally speaking lands decks are all mono green or Gruul (commanded by Omnath or Borborygmos). For whatever reason, those decks bore me. I also really like red. So I wanted to create a mono-red lands deck.

The main goal is to activate Koth's ultimate (then really never cast him again). Once you've weaponized mountains you can threaten people with the brutal force of your lands. This is of course not enough. The deck also runs Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle , and 2 copy lands to give you 2 more Valakuts. Further, there are ample damage based board wipes (Ashling the Pilgrim, Blasphemous Act, Sweltering Suns, Mizzium Mortars, Chain Reaction, and Pyrohemia) to combo with Repercussion. Most of the creatures are aimed at generating very efficient, relatively passive damage for example: Magmatic Force, Harsh Mentor, Mindsparker , Akoum Hellkite, Tunneling Geopede, and Obsidian Fireheart . For the most part damage is being done by elementals or landfall triggers.

The mono-red mana ramp is reasonably janky, but we do what we can. Finally there is a significant number of anti-aggro cards like red fog!( Glacial Crevasses ), Glacial Chasm, Ensnaring Bridge, Maze of Ith, and Kher Keep/Springjack Pasture.
