The main idea of this deck: Start hard with a turn one Student of Warfare then, do Elspeth, Knight-Errant second +1 on a Mirran Crusader or a leveled Student of Warfare. For overkill, equip the Sword of Fire and Ice and/or sword of war and peace on a Mirran Crusader. The Knight Exemplar save your creature from most removals (even your own mass removals : Wrath of God ), if you need more brave knights use Collected Company. There is a lot of spot removal like Path to Exile and Selesnya Charm to keep the board for your creatures.
In-deep description of cards
Creatures:
Student of Warfare: Main early drop of this deck, what is really good with this card is that it dont become useless as the game go like many one drop. You can see her like a 1/1 for one that have potential, a 3cmc 3/3 with first strike or a 8cmc 4/4 with doublestrike. Beside that, its tribal type is useful in this deck making it even stronger.
Knight of Meadowgrain: Pumping her is cruel, lifelink keep you at a good situation and keep up the lifeloss of lands. Good two drop if Student of Warfare is not present because you will always pump Student of Warfare over puting a two drop.
Knight Exemplar: The lord of this deck, she is overly awsome and is stong of her own. Two of them on the board make thing go wild because of her knights Indestructibility effect.
Mirran Crusader: Everything who pump one creature in this deck MUST be put on that creature, it rocks. The only real weakness of this guy is the Lightning Bolt, but we have things to counter that problem. Never try to pump it with the Selesnya Charm EVER, he has protection from it.
Steward of Valeron: These guys are bulky Llanowar Elves who happen to be knights and that can attack and still give mana during the battle phase (for Selesnya Charm most likely). They permit turn three four drop like Angelic Destiny, Elspeth, Knight-Errant and Collected Company.
Leonin Skyhunter : I used to play this one in a earlier version of this deck but it was cut. The printing of Collected Company maked it viable again.
Knight of the Reliquary: Dies to what the Mirran Crusader dont die because she is, mostly, never on the bolt range went she enter the battlefield. Two of those make things go nuts. She also transform your Plains in fetch land.
Wilt-Leaf Liege: Good againts discard and it an anthem or double anthem for your creatures. Its pretty stong on its own but he can't, unfortunatly, be brought in the battlefield by Collected Company. So thats why he's splashed here.
Artifacts:
Sword of Fire and Ice: Good on almost every creature in this deck, but Mirran Crusader make it even more powerful by triggering two time its damage effect.
Sword of War and Peace: Once again, Mirran Crusader is the best equiped by this. He gain protection from Path to Exile. And yet, its explosive triggering two time the effect of this sword.
Planeswalker:
Elspeth, Knight-Errant: Best white planeswalker EVER. She is like more Angelic Destiny, but she also make soldier who are also useful and pumpable. She always goes up and her ultimate do a mega Knight Exemplar duo effect. Basicly, she win games.
Instants:
Path to Exile: Spot removal or mana ramp on a pitch. Best modern white removal to date.
Selesnya Charm: Because a 2/2 knight with vigilance and flash wasn't good enought (its creature type is even revelent in this deck), it can also pump your creature for more power and trampling or to save them from burn effect. Its also a spot removal for big creature.
Collected Company: Give Free creatures at instant speed to create either instant board presence or for surprise creatures at the end of turn or during the block phase. Generaly, you will want some Knight Exemplar. The only creature it can't get is Wilt-Leaf Liege. Creatures represent more than 1/3 of the deck, making odds in our favor.
Lands:
Plains: Self explanatory...
Windswept Heath: Give you shock land, thin deck and pump Knight of the Reliquary. Plain awsome.
Temple Garden: Main green mana source for the splashing
Horizon Canopy: Fetchable with Knight of the Reliquary for card draw, it even pump her. Its also a green mana source.
Flagstones of Trokair: Protected against land destruction, it thin deck, fetch Temple Garden and fetchable with Knight of the Reliquary, it also pump her.
Sejiri Steppe: Fetchable with Knight of the Reliquary at instant speed either for saving a creature against spot removal or to grant unblockability to a creature.
Mutavault: The only knight manland yet. It survive sorcery speed removals.
Gavony Township: Grant power to our creatures if nothing better is available.
Sideboard:
Brave the Elements: Good against deck who rely on creatures to win like Zoo and spot removal like any variation of Jund or Abzan deck.
Dromoka's Command: Toolbox great against burn and good against Boggle. Remove two Angelic Destiny in order to side this.
Leyline of Sanctity: Hate against Discard, Burn and mill deck who happen to want to target your face and fail doing so. Remove two Angelic Destiny in order to side this.
Rest in Peace: Deck who rely on graveyard like living end and Dredgevine will mostly fail went you play this. It unfortunatly weaken our Knight of the Reliquary. Remove two Angelic Destiny in order to side this.
Stony Silence: Artifacts deck and in many case, Tron deck, will suffer from this as they won't be able to play at full potential. Remove two Angelic Destiny in order to side this.
Wilt-Leaf Liege: Discard deck and any variation of Jund or Abzan deck will suffer from free of these incredible knights. Remove two Angelic Destiny in order to side this.
Wrath of God: Mass removal who can become one sided with the help of somes Knight Exemplar. If you got only one of them, she will die, but will also save all others knights, becoming a martyr in the process. Remove two Angelic Destiny in order to side this.
