Spiders, Snakes, and Wolves have all combined to give Stephen King himself nightmares.I hope, anyway.
I haven't played Magic for years but this was always the deck I wanted to build since I saw both Howl of the Night Pack and Ambush Viper.
Gift of Paradise x3 and Favor of the Woods x3 are replacements for Rampant Growth and Overrun, because instead of sorceries they're enchantments. The 1 mana cost ability of Cobra Trap when a noncreature permanent is destroyed isn't something to be sneezed at. Also, this deck needed some healing.I once had 8 creatures with 3 cards each, but I guess Sabertooth Cobra isn't legal in Standard anymore, so I had to tweak it.
Also, Kessig Recluse was in there, but paying twice the mana for the same effects (reach, deathtouch) as Deadly Recluse and only getting a +1/+1 extra counter on it seemed silly.
So to sum up, for creature effects there are 8x Flash, 8x Deathtouch, 12x Reach, 4x Vigilance, 4x Trample, 4x Infect.
Please, critique. This is my first fully constructed deck and the one I'll probably go to at gatherings.
Edit (v3)Now that I've seen Master of the Wild Hunt and Raised By Wolves, I had to add those in there.There are much more enchantments than sorceries or instants because with Cobra Trap I want them to destroy those enchantments.I lowered the amount of lands because of Gift of Paradise, and I took out Rot Wolf completely. Oakenform might be replaced.Still haven't played this deck, but it's looking good so far.
Edit (v3.1)Switched Gnaw To The Bone and Cobra Trap from the sideboard into mainboard. Cobra Trap requires the opponent to destroy an enchantment for it to be cost-effective. I think Gnaw To The Bone will have more use in the mainboard.
