I keep seeing Morinfen and Gallowbraid as some of the worst commanders ever, so here is a deck based around them.

There are a lot of effects that cause you to lose life. Ideally, you will be able to get your hands on Magus of the Mirror , Mirror Universe , or Soul Conduit to exchange totals with an opponent with more life before you die. There are several Lich type effects, as well as Platinum Angel and Sundial of the Infinite which can keep you alive as well. A combination of these can leave you at 0 life and exchange it with your opponent to kill them. There are lots of zombie tokens to keep you alive if you are relying on a Lich effect, and to fuel mana with Carnival of Souls .

Hex Parasite, Vampire Hexmage, AEther Snap , Thrull Parasite , and Ferropede can eat the age counters from your cumulative effects, keep opponents from becoming stronger, or active Dark Depths faster if you get it out.

Alternately, there are several nasty effects that allow you to buff your commander to swing for commander damage. Lashwrithe, Nightmare Lash , Strata Scythe , and Howl from Beyond can easily take out an opponent later in the game.
