Kiki-Jiki is Indomitable

Modern*

Bluesky22

Do you miss the days of splinter twin when a mid range deck could win the game fairly or on the spot with a 2 card combo? Well then this maybe the deck for you.

While at first glance me look like a Mardu tokens deck with 2 creatures we've actually got a lot more going on. Our game plan is to get a couple tokens on the board then cast indomitable creativity x=2, going through our deck and getting the only two creatures we have, restoration angel and Kiki-jiki to win the game on the spot.

Card choices:

Indomitable creativity: the soul of our deck, only three of them because having more than one is pretty bad and we can win without it.

Restoration angel and Kiki-jiki: The reason I like the deck more than a lot of other library best combos is drawing one of you creatures isn't actually bad, you just have to cast creativity on at one token and get the second piece. If you have them in your hand you should be wary of running it out into removal, as we have no way to recover them if they die. But like I said, you can still will win without the combo so losing one piece isn't the end of the world .

Lingering souls: our best token generator, it makes more than enough tokens for IC and can put serious pressure on the board single-handedly.

Bitterblossom: makes a free chump blocker or attacker every turn for just 1 life? Sounds perfect.

Timely reienforcments: sure it's conditional but that life can help make up for bitterblossom and our painful mana base.

Sorin, solemn visitor: evasive attacker, lifelinkand pump, disruptive ultimate? A little pricy so just a 2 of.

Elspeth, knight errant: I'm not too sure about this one yet, might be swapped for Sorin LOI.

Mardu charm: one of our most flexible cards, it can be removal, instant speed discard, surprise blockers with first strike or just a creativity target.

Lightning bolt: the best red removal spell, can finish a game where the combo didn't happen. 4 of.

Lightning helix: extra copies of lightning bolt, final numbers to be decided later.

Path to exile: unconditional removal, one mana, minimal downside, perfect

Terminate: this may be replaced with fatal push in the future, for now I'm sticking with this for 100% unconditional removal.

Inquisition of kozilek: my go to hand attsck spell, gets pretty much everything this deck worries about

Thoughtseize: one mana discard with no restrictions, costs a bit of life but it's worth it.
