Ha, yeah, I guess Rootbound Crag would work. I'm wary of lands coming into play tapped because of the aggressiveness of the deck - I want my mana immediately. That's why I went with Copperline Gorge , to ensure that my early mana drops are successful.

Well, you can be lucky or unlucky with either. Both are worth having just the wrong land drops occasionally.
What do you think of the deck? I'm putting a Door to Nothingness in, and with a card:Druids' Repository, I think I might just be able to cast it reliably!

Maybe a Rancor or 4 would work because its a scary card on any creature.
July 31, 2012 12:52 p.m.
Rancor is not a bad idea for more damage, but it takes some focus away from card:Druids' Repository, by not being an attacking creature.

Hope to find some decent recovery from board wipes and burn through Wolf tokens!

I'm not convinced about the Rancor at the moment. It's worth a try, but this deck is too new for me to be able to accurately judge whether Rancor will take it in the direction I want to go for the win.
Thatcher's Revolt is something I don't want to give up yet - it's great for building up card:Druids' Repository, it can work with Hellrider and Hero of Oxid Ridge for extra damage, and it can rev up my newest addition: +2 Champion of Lambholt , -2 Borderland Ranger . (He was not fitting in)

How has your play testing been? what decks have you gone up against and what was the score mote or less?
August 1, 2012 12:13 p.m.
I've gone up against red-white aggressive aggro Humans, and against UW Control with Planeswalkers, and it has lost more than it won, and the wins were close.

Took out Blightsteel Colossus for now... my Blightsteel needs are being met by my Will there ever be a rainbow? deck for now... took out a Llanowar Elves and the last Predator Ooze , and put in 3 Wolfir Avenger s.

Definitely run Rootbound Crag over Copperline Gorge I know you're worried about rootbound coming in tapped, but think about it. All you need to do is drop a forest or mountain turn one and you're good for the rest of the game. If you keep an opening hand with a Kessig Wolf Run and a rootbound crag, then you need to learn when to mulligan. The rootbound crag is going to be far more reliable. You have 3 turns before the copperlines start coming in tapped. The only limitation for rootbound crag is that you can't play it first turn. I'd much have a land that comes in untapped turns 2-infinity than 1-3

Hmm, your arguments make sense, especially about the mulligan.

Pretty brilliant, exactly what druids repository was designed for lol

Thanks, vishnarg! I appreciate the comment, I'm trying to get maximum use out of the Repository while still having a viable aggressive aggro deck if I don't get it.
I haven't been using it much because I'm married to Delver a la Drake until rotation, but after rotation I might try it out at some FNMs. If I can borrow a couple of Bonfires from my friends. :) I'll miss the Hero of Oxid Ridge , but there's little else that won't survive rotation (maybe Beast Within will become Bramblecrush ).
Surely there'll be a cool R or RG creature with Haste in RTR though!

I was thinking this awesome kind of guy: W for a 1/1 legendary doublestrike with firebreathing... I agree red will never be as cool as it is right now.
August 28, 2012 8:04 a.m.
I assume you meant R for that creature, because W would just make no sense.
Here you go!

OMG THATS AWESOME LOLLLL! Only problem: you forgot a power/toughness. I love it

The image is updated now. LOL
I may have to include a Worldspine Wurm in this deck!
