Deck Number - 2/32

First draft of my Kess, Dissident Mage deck for EDH. Has won a few games so far in my playgroup, mainly through copying Torment of Hailfire, Part the Waterveil or casting many copies of Lightning Bolt.

Needs more solid wincons, lands and some better sorceries I reckon.

2020-25-02 thinking of changing the commander to Riku of Two Reflections. Seems more on theme for a spell copy commander. I'd also be able to get more reliable and consistent spell copying. Might wait until Ikoria comes out to see if we get a better Spell Copy commander.

EDIT; Proxyed some stuff over the weekend. Going to re-tool this deck completelty to be a Nekusar the Mindrazer deck. More to follow

EDIT; Back post Covid. This is back to a Kess, Dissident Mage deck. Still need to look into Riku. For now, its instants, sorceries and copying!

2022-02-14: Well, the time has come. Im retiring Kess. The first commander deck I made from scratch and wasnt an adapted precon! Ah memories... she wont be gone forever though. I see myself making a full on spell slinger deck with Kess at the helm in future, but for now the components are going into Kroxa and some parts are going to go into a Yuriko deck (mainly the land and top deck manipulators). Its bittersweet retiring this deck but I'll be back - I know I will
