Keep those spells flying —May 25, 2019

So I gave the deck a stress test of almost 20 games with the previous additions and cuts, made some trades, and put another 10 games onto it over the last couple of days. While I doubt this deck will ever be 'done' I really feel like it's coming together into something that I can enjoy playing without my opponents hating it.

WHAT'S OUT

2 Island Upgrading the manabase

Talent of the Telepath In all the games that it was in the deck it never got cast once.

Mission Briefing It's good but as I said with Snapcaster I'm finding that I prefer shuffling my graveyard back into my library or returning an instant/ sorcery to my hand over flashback.

The Mirari Conjecture Every chapter of the saga is good but the one I really care about is too slow and my opponents can see it coming a mile away.

Archfiend of Depravity He is a fantastic creature to keep me safe and I am trying to figure out a cut to make and fit him back in.

Baral, Chief of Compliance I won't use his loot effect too often but it's there if necessary and his cost reduction with instants and sorceries has helped a lot.

Ral, Storm Conduit A win con thanks to his passive.

Mizzix's Mastery It was foolish of me to take this out of the deck. It can win me the game if it resolves and failing that it can save me in a pinch and pull me ahead.

Rise of the Dark Realms An alternative win con. As much wheeling as this deck can do if this spell resolves it can easily be game over.
