More Clones —April 25, 2018
Playing with the deck for a long time now, I think perhaps I went a bit too heavy on the sorcery/instant theme. Sometimes I need a bit more of a board presence. I've thrown in some more clones that I've been thinking about for a while. I still have 40 instants/sorceries so the cards that interact with them have plenty of targets.
Frantic Search ---> Mirage Mirror: I've seen others play with Mirage Mirror and its performed great. Its flexibility is amazing.
Pull from the Deep ---> Vizier of Many Faces: A clone that can reanimate itself is great for Commander. Often a clone that copies a threatening creature becomes a removal target. The vizier just comes back once more.
Aethersnatch ---> Vesuvan Doppelganger: I'm less sure about this clone at 5 mana. However, it is a nostalgic card for me as I played with it back in the 90s. Aethersnatch is decent but sometimes just feels like too much mana for its effect.
