I wanted to have an Equipment deck in my collection, and Kemba, Kha Regent was the general I chose. There are obvious disadvantages to choosing mono-White over something like Boros (namely, Sunforger), but Kemba wears equipment like a champ. Not only that, but other cats like Raksha Golden Cub and Brimaz, King of Oreskos can be swapped in as alternate generals.

Jareth, Leonine Titan is outside of the deck as another alternate general, though I don't see myself ever using him - he was given to me by a friend before he sold his collection, and I kept him in the deck for as long as I could, but sadly he's just no longer good enough to be part of the 99.

Equipment

Obviously, the idea here is to get some equipment out and get Kemba going as soon as possible. I know a lot of people don't like Kemba as a general, but she's cheap enough to be recast multiple times, and she recovers from board wipes extremely well.

Steelshaper's Gift and Open the Armory for equipment tutors.

Sigarda's Aid gives Equipment flash and allows for it to be attached to creatures (Kemba) for free when entering play.

Darksteel Plate , Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots and Whispersilk Cloak protect Kemba in various ways.

Whispersilk Cloak also makes creatures unblockable, Trailblazer's Boots gives nonbasic landwalk (usually always makes something unblockable).

Explorer's Scope and Sword of the Animist help with ramp.

Sword of Body and Mind , Sword of Feast and Famine, Sword of Fire and Ice , Sword of Light and Shadow , Sword of War and Peace and Sword of Vengeance all give Kemba a number of abilities as well as some pump.

Basilisk Collar, Batterskull, Haunted Cloak , Loxodon Warhammer and Quietus Spike for a number of relevant abilities.

Strata Scythe gives Kemba a big pump, Argentum Armor gives a big pump and a Vindicate effect.

Konda's Banner pumps Kemba and her tokens, Stoneforge Masterwork gives Kemba a Coat of Arms effect.

Creatures/Planeswalkers

Regal Caracal gives cats lifelink and an anthem, and also makes two cats when entering.

Leonin Abunas gives artifacts hexproof.

Stoneforge Mystic for tutoring equipment and cheating them into play.

Stonehewer Giant and Taj-Nar Swordsmith are other equipment tutors.

Puresteel Paladin and Sram, Senior Edificer draws cards as Equipments are played, Puresteel also makes them free to equip.

Leonin Arbiter discourages people from searching libraries.

Leonin Relic-Warder is an Oblivion Ring on a creature for artfacts/enchantments.

Sun Titan recurs creatures/equipment.

Nahiri, the Lithomancer generates tokens and cheats equipment into play.

Other Artifacts

Caged Sun and Extraplanar Lens give double mana from lands and Pearl Medallion reduces white spell costs.

Expedition Map usually grabs Emeria, The Sky Ruin , but also gets Buried Ruin for artifact recursion (or any other land, obviously).

Removal

Austere Command, Day of Judgment , Hallowed Burial , Mass Calcify and Wrath of God for board wipes.

Council's Judgment , Dispatch , Oblation , Path to Exile, Return to Dust and Swords to Plowshares for targeted removal.

Grasp of Fate for an Oblivion Ring effect for each opponent.

Miscellaneous

White Sun's Zenith for more Cat tokens.

Anointed Procession for doubling Cat tokens.

True Conviction for a finisher, Marshal's Anthem gives an anthem effect and can also recur creatures.
