Can't really help you here, since my Kemba deck is more of a hardcore voltron Kemba deck with a minimum of creatures and a maximum of rockin' equipment.

Still, looks pretty good, although I think you should decide whether you're trying to pump out a bunch of cats or use actual cards to make an army, since you don't want to have to divide your equipment if possible. Also, cheap living weapons do these decks good, since they're a coatrack and an equipment all in one.

Go with Mother of Runes over Devoted Caretaker . Protection from a color will help you get past blockers and a lot more than sorceries/instants

Replace Inkmoth Nexus with Emeria, The Sky Ruin - Remember when the Nexus stops being a creature, the equipment falls off. You are better off keeping it attached to Kemba.

Manriki-Gusari over Bone Saw . Bonesaw is pretty bad. Manriki is only slightly better, but it can take out other dudes equipment.

Overall, I think you have too much equipment. So I suggest removing some of the more lackluster equipment for some more exciting spells.

True Conviction over Shuko - This thing is a beating, especially when you have a replaceable army.

Austere Command over Paradise Mantle - Mono-Whites Swiss Army Knife of Awesome

Tempest of Light over Cleanfall

Also, with Caged Sun , and Extraplanar Lens , adding card:White Sun's Zenith would be pretty saucy

Leonin Shikari and Raksha Golden Cub would work well.

Removing one of the two Sword of Feast and Famine could work :p O-Naginata will get you some trample in there and an card:Accorder's Shield

Oblation is a good method for getting a general out of the way. Depending on how many cat creatures make it in, Door of Destinies would be a good choice. Also thecard:White Sun's Zenith really should be in here.

Jareth, Leonine Titan might be an interesting addition, also Prismatic Strands

Here are some ideas:

Add card:White Sun's Zenith to boost the number of cats.

Leonin Shikari is great for combat tricks, especially with 0 or 1 equip cost equipment. :)

Mother of Runes and Mistmeadow Skulk are bonkers in a deck like this.

If you have Strip Mine or Wasteland , I'd put them in over Ghost Quarter .

Take out Trusty Machete , Vulshok Morningstar , Skullclamp (only because you have so few 1 toughness creatures), Spidersilk Net , Paradise Mantle , No-Dachi , Shuko , Devoted Caretaker , Dispatch , Cleanfall , Gorgon Flail , Leonin Scimitar , and Bone Saw .

Put in Land Tax , Kusari-Gama , Hammer of Ruin , Tempest of Light , and Raksha Golden Cub .

You might consider adding Swords to Plowshares , Path to Exile , or card:Faith's Fetters for removal.

What no card:Umezawa's Jitte?! Shadow creature + Jitte = Awesome Sauce.

Soul Warden or Suture Priest would be good if you're making so many cat tokens.

A super equipped Lost Leonin could be a game changer.

somnolence, when I first saw someone make a deck like this (Trevor I think), I was like wow that's WAY too much equipment. But then he reminded me since Kemba is your general, it's like having her in your hand already, so you want your turns to go like this: turn one, play an equipment. Turn two, play another. Turn three, play kemba. Turn four, attach everything and have 2 or 3 cat tokens each turn from then on. That's why Shuko and Bone Saw seem to be perfect - they are so cheap that it makes cat tokens immediately.

Anyway so that's why the deck needs a TON of equipment. If I take out too many, then my opening hand will only have Kemba, no Equipment, a Mother of Runes, and a few Plains, and that's no bueno...Know what I mean, or do you still think I should take some out?

The question was, should I also have the cat theme going so I can use Coat of Arms, Door of Destinies , and a bunch of Cat creatures as the other creatures, or just use utility creatures that do well with Equipment if Kemba dies?

taltosravenloft, great suggestions. Like my reply to Somnolence above, I am unsure about cutting down the Equipment, especially the cheap ones, because Kemba needs to get equipped immediately to start the tokens flowing. Or do you not think it's that critical?

Those are good choices for cards to include.

Really you wouldn't use Dispatch ? In this deck, it's a Path to Exile without the downside!

not sure how it would fit but maybe Everflowing Chalice for when kemba dies you can cast her faster and equip more when she comes back

Not a bad idea. Mana is very important later on when everything needs to be equipped to my one surviving or recently-cast creature.
