• Modified from my previous setup: Ephemeral Battalion Troop.
• This is a multi-players build, optimum at four or more players.
• Tajic can easily survive on board without drawing much attention from opponents. And this deck is equipped with a bunch of board-wipes, make sure creatures are in-check.
• Many would have suggest to include Captain of the Watch, which is a good card, no offend. The casting cast is just too high and don't synergized well with my build.
• Hasty 1-Drop: Bomat Courier, Legion Loyalist, and Lightning Berserker are low cast battalion-triggers. Lightning Berserker will be cast as Dash for and return to hand for safekeeping. Even though there are many hasty 1-drop, but these three are with additional abilities that worth the slot.
• Ranger of Eos helps tutor for 1-drops. Thalia's Lancers mainly for tutoring Iroas, God of Victory or Sword of the Animist.
• Tajic and the ladies: Angelic Overseer and Anya, Merciless Angel are great partner with Tajic, they are some of the persistent creatures.
• 1-Card-Battalion: Eldrazi Obligator, Molten Primordial, Zealous Conscripts, and Mass Mutiny assuming that Tajic is ready to attack. Then, sacrifice the controlled creatures with Goblin Bombardment if possible. This group takes your opponent by surprise, any one of them makes Tajic a 7/7 Indestructible that giving them dilemma to deal with.
• Awaiting for my Chandra, Flamecaller and Tempt with Vengeance to be included in the 1-Card-Battalion gangs. Tempt with Vengeance will replace Return to the Ranks while Chandra, Flamecaller will replace Kytheon, Hero of Akros   (probably).
• Non-creature cards that turn into creature: Blinkmoth Nexus, Mishra's Factory, Needle Spires, Boros Keyrune, Myth Realized, Gideon Jura (but mainly for decoy purpose), Koth of the Hammer, and Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker. They are not easily killed by board-wipe, turn any two of them into creatures for battalion-trigger. Planning to replace Needle Spires with Inkmoth Nexus, but it's too pricey at the moment. Looking for Mutavault too.
• Creature Token Producers: Kher Keep, Goblin Rabblemaster, Heliod, God of the Sun, Assemble the Legion, Elspeth, Knight-Errant (mainly for her second ability), Elspeth, Sun's Champion (mainly for board-wipe), and Decree of Justice.
• Decree of Justice has a special place here. The cycling ability is main reason since it cannot be countered, and is instant, and draws you a card while putting 2 creatures at opponent's end-step before your turn, meaning ready for battalion, too. Secure the Wastes seems fit-in for this slot, but seems lack a bit in card advantage, comparatively speaking.
• Austere Command and Council's Judgment are too good to be excluded. Austere Command provide so much options in single card while Council's Judgment is an asymmetry spot removal that get through even hexproof or shroud.
• Veteran's Armaments work so well with Tajic and battalion. It is low cast, auto-equip on Tajic, and when battalion triggered, it gives Tajic additional +3/+3.
• Worldslayer is great, but the high casting cost and equip cost, and it makes the whole world panic. It's just too difficult to unleash its full potential.
