The plan here is to gain an unreasonable amount of life, and use Karlov to control your opponent's fields until you can swing lethal with him or otherwise combo off through Aetherflux Reservoir or, if your opponents aren't paying attention, Felidar Sovereign .

An important thing to note is that I don't want to gain tons of life all at once. Sure, Ajani, Mentor of Heroes is nice if you ult him, but Karlov sees that as the same as gaining 1 life (and yes I know I can't run that Ajani, I used him for an example). I would prefer to gain life in small increments many times rather than lots of life in one action. Also I'd have more risk of it being countered.

I think the deck is pretty much done, but I'll still make changes as I get new cards for it. Notably, I am thinking of replacing Lightning Greaves with Swiftfoot Boots so that Odric can share all the abilities they yeild. Also make it easier to work with on my side of the field. Additionally, I no longer play at the LGS that bans 2 card combos, so I've actively got my eyes open for an Exquisite Blood .

As usual with my decks, I don't plan to spend too much on this deck, especially since it is one of three decks I'm semi-actively working on building.
