Karlov of the Ghost Council built mostly for duel commander but still effective in multiplayer games. I use a low mana curve to work efficiently off of a few lands and still manage to be a constant threat to the opponent. The deck takes advantage of instances of life-gain to pump Karlov and swing with a big commander while using his ability to exile your opponent's commander and other annoying creatures they may play. I have been steadily tweaking and improving on the build to make it as quick and efficient as possible.

Edit April 2016- As soon as Cataclysm wasn't banned in 1v1 I incorporated a land destruction package which includes Armageddon, and Crucible of Worlds. I also added some mana rocks to help keep Karlov moving after the lands are destroyed since most of the cards in the deck are cheap CMC wise.

Edit 21 Dec 2016- With new changes in the duel commander format I've revamped the deck making it more aggressive while still holding on to the control aspects in Orzhov colors and removing the Land destruction package. Since the unbanning of Serra Ascendant I made some swaps in the list for more creatures.

Edit 4 March 2017- Got a hold of my first dual land and Zendikar Exploration for the deck. Also included some fast mana and mana rocks for better consistency.

Edit 1 April 2019- As soon as War of the Spark is released Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord is an auto include in this list.

Still trying to foil out the deck as much as possible. I updated the list with few more 1CMC creatures and the new Sword of Truth and Justice. Also added in Ajani, Strength of the Pride and Gideon Blackblade
