Maybeboard

The deck has a tempo. It is built to make sure it beats one opponent and has a good chance at being in a strong position to take on more afterwards. It does not seek total board control to take out all opponents.

Turn 1: Play something that will give you life on turn 2+

Turn 2: Play Karlov

Turn 3: Play something that will give you life before Karlov resolves damage

Turn 4: Transition to controlling the board while Karlov continues to ramp.

Remember, protection from color can also mean unblockable by color.

This deck has alternative win conditions and some steady card draw which I'd like to improve on. Steady card draw is probably less important than burst card draw, I should be looking at swapping out to that if anyone has good suggestions.

Odds & Ends is really a category for sideboard, but EDH doesn't have sideboard and maybe it shouldn't. A lot of my "Maybe Board" is that way too. I'm having a hard time saying 'no' to these cards because they are SO effective in their match ups, and their match ups are fairly broad... but... figuring out how much and which of this to include is a real struggle for this deck.
