How have your planeswalkers been working out for you? In my experience, most planeswalkers get one ability off and then get removed.

zephramtripp Nissa vital force's emblem is very easy to get and is incredibly useful for card draw, especially in this deck. You can usually get her emblem before she is removed. As for the rest, they haven't seen enough play for me to comment but my friends don't play too much planeswalker removal and i usually have enough creatures out to act as blockers. I will probably be taking out freyalise in the near future as she is only functioning as artifact / enchantment removal and I could replace her with a cheaper instant / sorcery that does the same.

Would Primordial Sage be good in this deck, or is it too win more?

March 3, 2017 7:43 a.m.

Mana Reflection+Cryptolith Rite+Whitemane Lion+ the old crossroads card= all the lands. but im sure mana reflection might just be over kill

zephramtripp Primordial Sage is one i've been thinking of putting in. When i get my hands on a copy I will add it, most likely taking out Kodama's Reach, as I find it to not have much use unless its in my opening hand

titanic.ultimatum I think even without that combo Mana Reflection is still a good card to have in the deck, and will undoubtably add it at some point. In terms of what to take out for it, my first choice would be Regal Behemoth, however that would lower my creature count so I may have to think of something else

Have you considered Utopia Sprawl plus Arbor Elf ? its possible to net like... 4 extra mana each turn.

If you're running Sakura-Tribe Elder, I see no reason not to run Emeria Shepherd. It's a simple combo that pulls every plains in your deck onto the battlefield. Emeria Shepherd has utility outside the combo in this deck, too.

In addition, I think that Selfless Spirit has more utility in this deck than Heroic Intervention. You don't have to leave mana up, and it's a creature, which means you get a trigger off Karametra.

ThinkJank the only reason I have chosen heroic intervention is for the added advantage of making my permanents indestructible, however getting the trigger and not having to leave mana open is definitely an advantage.

as for emeria shephard, that is a great little combo that I didn't realise, will definitely look into adding it

Nitrobadger definitely something i will look into, although in the limited play this deck has seen I haven't seemed to have a problem netting a bunch of mana. 4 mana extra each turn is tempting though

I also have a karametra deck you might find interesting. A lot of similar design choices i think

Let's build a world together

This is a pretty cool deck, although there are a few cards that i would try to fit into the deck.

The first and primary cards that i think should be in this deck is Genesis Wave and Archetype of Endurance. I'd also try to fit in Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, but it makes sense if you don't have them in because your playgroup doesn't like to play them.

Also, Emeria Shepherd might be a card to look into, as it can combo pretty well with karametra.

ilikepie1233748 All of those cards are great suggestions. I've been meaning to add Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite for some time, and once i pull the trigger and buy copies of both of them I will definitely be adding them. The same can be said for . Emeria Shepherd. Archetype of Endurance and Genesis Wave are cards I haven't thought about, but both would work well in the deck I think. Will definitely look into getting copies in the near future.

Zinrius both good suggestions. Have a copy of Cloudstone Curio so will see if I can fit it in

Foul Emissary could give you a two-for-one effect with a more deliberate draw than Elvish Visionary, and Eldritch Evolution could let you tutor for the right creature at the right time.

Great deck!

Panzerforge Foul Emissary is a good shout, since I have so many creatures in my deck I can see it working. Eldritch Evolution could also work, especially since I have many 6 cost creatures to sacrifice, which would help me get out Avacyn. Thanks for the suggestions!

So I have a question, Why dont you have the major angels in your deck like Iona, Shield of Emeria or something like Dark Depths Karametra generates so much mana as it is, its not difficult for me to proc Dark depths and get Marit Lage.

Xlib22 says... #19

Zerraphon In our playgroup we have decided not to play Iona, Shield of Emeria as we feel it sometimes takes the fun out of games (we play casually). As for Dark Depths, I have thought about it but for the 30 or so mana it takes to get marit lage I could play a bunch of other creatures which act similarly as finishers.

Have you considered Avenger of Zendikar? I think he would fit quite well in this deck.

CommanderNeyo Indeed I have, its in my maybeboard for now as I'm waiting on a copy. As soon as it arrives its going straight into the deck!

Ah Alright! Deffinatly. Take a look at my karametra deck If you could! I've spent a lot of time on it and theres a big emphasis on creatures and planeswalkers, But since I started it out Im learning what the good cards are and what are dead draw's in the deck xD The only reason why I dont play the Titan's like you do is because my Kruphix deck has them so it's lame to play them when I could be playing all the fabulous angels :P

Might I reccomend Knight of the Reliquary to you as well as a small package for it? She has so much utility in my own The Giant Hippie in the Sky deck. Things I'd reccomend to go with a Knight of the Reliquary package are:

Maze of Ith to keep your shields up.

Mirrorpool has a ton of utility and can clone some pretty ridiculous things.

Mikokoro, Center of the Sea gives you political sway and can help you refuel when you need to.

Thespian's Stage can clone any land, I've gotten a second Maze of Ith many a time off of it.

Glacial Chasm is a good 'in case of emergency' card for when the Saskia Infect player locks their jaw around your ankle.

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx can be win moar, but I've also had it be 'win just enough'.

Gavony Township provides a great anthem effect.

While we're at it, Deserted Temple lets you reuse all your utility lands! What's better than a Maze of Ith? Two. What's better than two? Two, but you can use one of them twice. It's also a real easy way to make more mana than you know what to do with with Nykthos.

And my last reccomendations are the hideaway lands in your colours, they provide real nice surprises should you meet their conditions, which shouldn't be too hard.

If you want more ways to get to your Reliquary Package, I'd suggest Sylvan Scrying and Ulvenwald Hydra can also get you to the lands you need right when you need them. If you're worried about losing said utility lands, then Crucible of Worlds is a way to get them back, but I don't run it because I'm not filthy rich. Also, Cruxible let's you get back the lands you sacced to Knight of the Reliquary or Glacial Chasm! Or you can even sac Glacial Chasm to its Cumulative Upkeep then replay it in a pinch if you ever need it for too long.

This has gotten a bit rambly, so I'll cut it off here. TL;DR: Knight of the Reliquary is waifu 4 laifu and I'd reccomend running a package for her to death.
