The Good Chef Kambal and his Kitchen Krew have arrived, and they're here to ensure only the highest quality soup is produced at your table. Good Chef Kambal is a firm believer in using all natural ingredients, so to dissuade anyone from trying to use any of that fake stuff he's putting a higher tax on any non-creature ingredients going into the brew. Since he's not a dictator he'll still let his pupils use them, so long as they're aware of the price.

But that's just the beginning, my aspiring chefs! In order to really ensure a high quality product, you have to be willing to take your time and inspect your ingredients thoroughly. Thankfully, Good Chef Kambal is willing to help with that aspect. Using tools such as Blind Obedience, Winter Orb, Static Orb, and Authority of the Consuls, Good Chef Kambal makes sure everyone spends a little bit longer looking over their resources. Additionally, Good Chef Kambal encourages students to really think about which ingredients they need by raising the prices on them ever so slightly. Thorn of Amethyst is a good tool to make one consider what they want, and what they actually need. Joining it is the Aura of Silence and Defense Grid. The Defense Grid is particularly helpful in making sure students don't get too hasty and start rushing ahead of the others, which could really mess up the resulting broth! If these tools are, for some inexplicable reason, unavailable, his trusty Kitchen Krew can also step in for this role! Thalia, the Heretic Cathar is always happy to assist new cooking-enthusiasts in double checking their ingredients to make sure they're fit for use before actually being used. Lodestone Golem can also step in, helping students to stay on the path of natural ingredients along with his good friend the Vryn Wingmare.

Sometimes, though, our young pupils get a bit overzealous and start accruing too many ingredients. While the Good Chef Kambal and his Kitchen Krew do try to dissuade their little learners from this through taxation and inspection, it doesn't always work out. That's when they have to utilize the floodgates. Portcullis is an excellent way to make sure the counter top doesn't get too cluttered, and the Aven Mindcensor doesn't mind stepping in to calm down a frantic student or two.

Now, the kitchen can be a high-tension place at times. Arguments can start up over technique, stress, what ingredients to use, and many other reasons. Being the wise and experienced chef that he is though, Good Chef Kambal has measures in place to prevent any serious fighting from breaking out. First, Ghostly Prison makes it harder for fights to start and punishes the instigator when they do. Second, Sphere of Safety provides all students with a small area of peace and quiet which becomes even harder to break through when used alongside Ghostly Prison and our other tax effects. And if that's still not enough, Good Chef Kambal has no qualms with whipping up a fresh Lightmine Field to really punish attackers. With a bit of Crawlspace mixed in, it becomes very difficult for big fights to break out in the workplace.
